Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C. –Aug 4th, 2009 – ADATA (TAIEX: 3260), the largest Memory Module Company in Taiwan, today announced that net sales for July 2009 totaled NT$ 2,588 million. In comparison to June 2009, July 2009 monthly sales revenue increased 26.00%. And on year-over-year basis, the sales revenue increased 1.09% compared to NT$2,560 million of July 2008. Accumulated sales revenue from January to July is NT$14,446 million.
As to monthly product mix, DRAM accounts for 43.10% and NAND accounts for other 56.90% in total sales. Total DRAM sales revenue increased 34.66% to NT$1,115 million in comparison with NT$828 million last month. Total NAND sales revenue increased 20.15% up to NT$1,437 million compared to NT$1,226 million last month.
Pricing in July was both good for DRAM and NAND Flash. DDR2 1Gb ASP went up 4.59% sequentially, while DDR3 1Gb ASP went up 10.07%. ADATA DRAM shipments thereby in July increased high 20% when compared to those in June, and DDR3 module shipments posted an obvious growth in particular. NAND Flash remained sustainable growth. Due to higher DRAM price basis and seasonality, sales revenue for August still has chances to go up.
