Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C. –September 7th, 2009 – ADATA (TAIEX: 3260), the largest Memory Module Company in Taiwan, today announced that net sales for August 2009 totaled NT$ 3,176 million. In comparison to July 2009, August 2009 monthly sales revenue increased 22.72%. And on year-over-year basis, the sales revenue increased 42.49% compared to NT$2,229 million of August 2008. Accumulated sales from January through August declined 14.86% to NT$17,621 million on a year-over-year basis.
As to monthly product mix, DRAM accounts for 46.51% and NAND accounts for other 53.49% in total sales. Total DRAM sales revenue increased 32.47% to NT$1,477 million in comparison with NT$1,115 million last month. Total NAND sales revenue increased 15.34% up to NT$1,699 million compared to NT$1,473 million last month.
Demand from OEM clients in August was very strong. Volume shipments grew month over month and set record high for NAND Flash products. Looking beyond following months, ADATA will benefit from the improving market.
